  • S'il vous plaît is the general translation of 'please'. You will see a lot it's abbreviation : s.v.p.
  • Voilà is a word you will hear a lot. It literary means : 'see there'. If you give something to somebody, voila means 'take'. Mostly voilà will be used to express something like 'OK, 'That's it!'.
