Twins French Kissing : not a familiar sight…
Unlike you would see in France twins French kissing like this, you won’t see anybody kissing on the streets in Malaysia, unless the European tourists. You don’t even see people kissing in the further quite explicit Edison Chen Scandal pictures! Europe for sure is not Asia…
So the first time I was in Paris, I was quote shocked to see all these people licking each other as if they were dogs…
Seems my perception was a bit out, as kissing in France seems to be as common as breathing. Especially as a woman you get kissed at each encounter, be it when meeting men or women. At least women tend to kiss the air to not destroy people’s make-up. The men on the contrary are less scuttle…
But what struck me the most was that men do kiss each other as well when greeting each other.
All this is far away from my culture where we don’t even shake hands. Which I find quite sensible: you never know where somebodies’ hands have been, let alone where his mouth has been…
