New prostate Cancer treatment
Having lost already some family members due to cancer, I try to stay on top of new cancer treatments: especially those treatments with little side-effects.
The newest in prostate cancer treatment is exactly that and called HIFU treatment.
HIFU stands for High Intensity Focused Ultrasound, meaning they will use ultrasound waves in order to pinpoint and destroy the cancer.
What I love about this treatment is that you don’t need surgery, nor radiation. On top of that: the HIFU treatment will only take about 1 hour!
