It has been quite a while since we posted any French swear words, French insults, French slang and other dirty words in French so… time to change that!
We are trying to make a separate learn French site where people from all ages can visit us, where this French swear words page was more for the hardcore students who wanted to learn French phrases that you can’t find in normal French books.

And not to scare everybody away from the first French swear words, we start with the sentence written under the above picture:
Vous êtes des malades.
As usual try to guess the French to English translation first. You recognize "mal" in English words like malfunction or malignant tumor: meaning bad or "not well".
Malade therefore means "not wel" or sick and if you want to scold people for being kind of sicko’s, you just say : Vous êtes (des) malades.
Put the smiley behind it to use these mild French swear words in a very cute way

hi; in fact, ” vous etes des malades ” just means ” you are crazy/sick” in english it’s not a swear word at all ( i know what i’m talking about, i’m french)
