Va voir si j’y suis!

Not a pretty rude French swear word, as you can see it used in an advertisement of a French website.

Learn this French sentence by hearth, as there as very useful words you will need whenever you learn French:

  • va : Go, he goes, she goes, it goes
  • si : if
  • j’ / je : I
  • je suis : I am
  • y : there

If you have been learning French / Français before, you should know already the expression using "y" :

  • Il y a : there is - there are

So the whole French sentence: va voir si j’y suis means : Go see if I am there / Go have a look if I am there…which only a very stupid idiot will do…
