Study better using flashcards

Published by French Immersion under Study

Why people keep on studying French and Spanish with me, is not only because I am good, but because I use a "play to learn" approach. One of the methods I love is: using flashcards by the dozen. It’s just that I make them myself, and that is really time consuming.

Happy to have found ProProfs Flashcards: they have flashcards by the million!

You read that right! ProProfs Flashcards claims to be the largest educational flashcards database in the world. And best of all: it is totally free!

It’s actually a very successful community-oriented service providing students and teachers with flashcards. What is so great is that everybody can make and add his flashcards to the database.

If you never ever used Flashcards, you need to know that flashcards are a proven tool to help students register information: it’s a kind of study when you play process, and whatever you learn when playing is a keeper.

The only problem I have with the French Flashcards, is that they show some scrambled signs where the accents should be. Maybe I need to change something on my browser? Anybody who has an answer her, please let me know!

Try the Flashcards game below: read the definition of a French word and guess which word they are talking about. Or have a look at all the other educational subjects covered by flashcards!
