Don't fill your memory with all greeting expressions that are available, learn French greeting expressions that you can remember well and that are commonly used. Once you hear a new French greeting in a French conversation, just repeat the same expression : mostly your French conversation will continue fluently and your memory has 1 time less to go before it wil memorise the new French expression.
