What time is it in French?

What time is it in French? The same like in English? Well, get prepared for a very funny way of telling time. Not only has the French language the normal counting for minutes after the hour. The French speak also "backwards"... It is 11 hours minus 25 minutes...

French time

French time is flexible: most French are not very punctual but will reach an appointment at most after 15 minutes. Yet the French do show up or will inform you when an appointment needs to be re-scheduled.
