Compared to Chinese language or Malaysian language, in the French language there are not so many words to study. So a good starting point to learn French words is to learn about family members.

Why learn French family words?

Like everywhere in the world, French like to speak a lot. One of the easiest conversations to start is asking about a persons' family members: how old is your brother, how many sisters do you have (this is a very common French question...) And since they ask how many or how old they are, better learn the French words for numbers as well.
